The webform is just what it says – it’s a form that leads to of opt-ins for your website. It’s one of the most standard features of an Infusionsoft campaign and will likely be one you find yourself using often.

Begin clicking the Web Form goal, naming it, saving it – and then double clicking the Web Form icon that appears on your Infusionsoft Canvas.

As you’ll see, your web forms will be defaulted to only capture first name and email. But you can add in other items such as phone number and address. You can also add colors and fonts into your web form. However, if you’re using a landing page later in your campaign, adding colors and fonts may not be necessary.

Once you’re done, you can click the “Thank You Page” tab. This page is the message that’s displayed after a user submits a form. Upon clicking, you’ll be met with a generic landing page. However, it’s recommended that you send users to your own website’s “Thank You Page”. You can do this by clicking “Web Address” under the drop down box above.

In the “Settings” tab you’ll find ways to receive notifications each time someone opts-in, as well as embed codes so you can embed your web-form on your website easily. Now all you have to do is go back to your campaign builder, publish the form, and now it’s live!

Begin by choosing “Landing Page” as your goal, naming it and then saving it. The Landing Page goal  is very similar to a web form, except it’s hosted and designed completely in the Infusionsoft builder. Upon clicking, you’ll be met with a template for a landing page where you can add text and formatting.

You will also be capturing someone’s information in this landing page, so much like the webform, you can choose which information you want to capture: email, names, address and more.

Just as you’ll find with a web form, you’ll click Thank You Page and ensure that you have a quality thank you page for your visitors. Upon returning to the dashboard, set your goal in ready mode and click publish!

Segment Your Leads with Tags

Infusionsoft Tag Goal

Simply open up the “Tag Goal” icon – and choose the specific tag  goal that you want to utilize. In the example given, we will use the “prospect tag”, but you can choose whatever category or way you’d like to segment

This allows you to segment your leads, so you can use them in different areas of your campaign.

Trigger automation when leads purchase a product

We start this goal by choosing “Product Purchase”, naming and saving it as a goal. You’ll then be met with a box where you can choose the product you want used to trigger the automation. You can also enable it to be any item, a specific item, or even a category.

Then, we would simply click publish and you’re ready to go.

Trigger automation when leads receive, view or pay for a quote

Similar to product purchase – for a viewed, paid or received “quote” you can follow a similar process. Click the “Quote Goal” category. From there you can choose to trigger the automation when the quote is viewed, accepted, paid and more.

All you have to do is toggle your settings, click save and you’re ready to automate.

Trigger automation when leads enter your sales pipeline

The “Opportunity Stage Moved” goal is for a sales pipeline campaign. If you’re a service based company, this is a goal you’ll want to use once a campaign enters the sales pipeline. This is where you determine what category or campaign your customer will be sent to.

You can also set up opportunity elements in case they move out of a campaign, in case they don’t need to be contacted any further.

Trigger automation when notes are applied

You can also trigger automation when notes are applied. For example, you may need a note applied to a contact that says they aren’t a good fit, and you need them automatically removed.

In this scenario, you could select your action type as: appointment and create a note that you’ve scheduled an appointment, which will take then out of your automation.

Of course, there’s plenty other options. Simply choose your note, category and click publish.

Trigger automation when a lead score is achieved

The next goal is “lead score achieved”. Once opening it, you have the option to trigger automation when the score increases or decreases. You can also choose the number of flames. Once done, you click save – and then publish! Easy as that.

These are just a few main ways to set-up goals and start your first campaign in Infusionsoft. This is the first of many video guides, stay tuned next time where we’ll tackle Infusionsoft’s Blog Manager tool.
